Manx By Nature | The Shop is Open!

A selection of my cards for sale

It’s nearly the end of another (cold and dark) week and I’m delighted to share the final shop front of my Manx By Nature Etsy store! The cards are high quality 350gsm weight and come with an envelope and a fully biodegradable card bag. They are £2 each or £7.50 for a pack of five.

I will add an Etsy shop page to this website over the weekend but for now, I’m offering a 50% discount to my Etsy shop’s first customer! See the full range here and place your order through the platform.

We’re going on the Choo-Choo train! Visiting Ballasalla & Silverdale | Isle of Man Steam Railway

The Isle of Man’s steam railway was opened in 1873 and runs from its Victorian terminus in Douglas to Port Erin in the south of the Island. Join us on our 35-minute journey to Ballasalla, venturing through woods and open fields on the three foot narrow gauge railway line.

We visit the gardens of Rushen Abbey, established almost 900 years ago when King Olaf I earmarked land for a Monastic Abbey in modern-day Ballasalla. Here you can see medieval remains alongside a recreation of the monks’ medicinal garden, alive with colour in early autumn.

Walking along the Silver Burn through Silverdale Glen, the Manx hedgerows are bursting with song – rosehips, blackberries and elder berries provide seasonal sustenance for the wild birds that dance above the footpaths.
